If you want to participate in live sessions using video, audio or text chat, you’ll need a messaging program which allows you to communicate with another or others using the same program. There are many such programs freely available to use. It’s important however to pick one which allows you to exchange encrypted messages. Encryption is a process which allows your message to be read by the person to whom it is directed, but encodes the message so that no-one else can accidentally or purposely read it whilst it is being transmitted.

If you want to use any of these messaging platforms, you will also need to use an additional software program, SimpLite (which is free) in order to encrypt your messages.
